Travolta is the very youngest out of a family of six children, and he was born and grew up in Englewood, New Jersey, which was a suburb of New York City. He is of Italian and Irish descent, and his brothers and sisters names are Joey, Ellen, Ann, Margaret, and Sam. He grew up in a neighborhood that was primarly Irish American, and his household was mostly Irish in culture, and his family was strictly Roman Catholic.
